Virginia started teaching singing in 1995 in conjunction with her busy professional performing career. Previously a dance teacher, she has had a passion for teaching in one capacity or other most of her life!
Presently she teaches mainly in her private studio but also various high schools, primary schools and tertiary organisations in Sydney.
She has conducted various choral and instrumental ensembles and has been the choreographer and musical director for various music theatre groups ( NZ).
Virginia is currently a senior conductor/tutor for Australian Girls Choir, a Preferred vocal tutor at UNSW and an online seniors education lecturer in Opera.

Virginia’s performing career as a Free lance Opera Singer has seen her on stages throughout Australia, New Zealand and many other international locations. Her career featured many operatic Mezzo soprano principal and ensemble roles and various vocal and dance principal roles in music theatre. She is a highly experienced concert and oratorio performer, Professional recording artist and enjoys performing in vocal and jazz ensembles.
Virginia is a proud member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) Ltd.
